Invitations set the tone for your event by offering a glimpse into your style and theme. There is nothing more elegant for your guests than receiving a beautiful envelope addressed to them by hand in calligraphy.

I will work with you on the perfect layout, style and color for your envelopes to coordinate with your invitations. From classic black to watercolor or metallic gold, anything is possible! I can also provide spot calligraphy and monogram design if you would like to create your own invitation suite.

See below for examples of calligraphy scripts available.

COPPERPLATE

The contrasting thick and thin lines that characterize the copperplate hand were developed for the printing press. This elegant, timeless hand is a beautiful addition to just about any occasion. In its most basic form, copperplate is crisp and classic. With added flourishes, it sets a regal tone for formal affairs.

SPENCERIAN

Spencerian script was developed by Platt R. Spencer in the late 19th century during the golden age of American ornamental penmanship. This delicate, romantic script is ideal for wedding invitations, vows, letters, or any important sentiment.

MODERN

Modern calligraphy is a looser, bouncier twist on classic copperplate. Each calligrapher has their own take on this freehand style, which is popular for weddings, branding and decor.
