Hi. My name is Melissa and I love the alphabet. 

I'm a calligrapher, writer and editor based in Atlanta.

I discovered my passion for calligraphy after a lifetime of drawing and doodling letters on the margins of notebooks. In 2014, I bought a calligraphy book on a whim and was immediately hooked. I devoted my evenings and weekends to practicing and later enrolled in calligraphy classes, where I really honed my skills.

Since 2016, I have been a member of the International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers, and Teachers of Handwriting. At IAMPETH’s annual conventions, I’ve had the opportunity to study calligraphy alongside the world's most talented calligraphers and artists.

Aside from words, I also love ride riding my bike, exploring new places and collecting vintage lunch boxes.
